Bompit is operated by:

By using Bompit, you agree to these Terms to the extent that an agreement is formed under applicable law.
1. About Bompit
Bompit provides simple browser-based tools for everyday tasks.
JavaScript is required because Bompit's current tools perform their work directly in your browser.
The current service includes browser-local tools for transforming text and data, generating identifiers and files, and converting values for everyday use.
Bompit is currently provided free of charge and does not require a user account.
We may develop Bompit over time by adding, changing or removing tools and functionality. Any changes are subject to applicable law and do not limit rights that you may have under mandatory law.
2. Using Bompit
You may use Bompit for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into a Bompit tool and for deciding whether the resulting output is appropriate for your intended use.
You must not intentionally use Bompit to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, services or data;
- interfere with, disrupt or damage Bompit or its infrastructure;
- distribute malicious software or other harmful content through the service;
- circumvent technical or security measures; or
- use automated methods in a way that causes unreasonable load or disruption to the service.
We may take proportionate technical measures to prevent or limit abusive, malicious or disruptive use.
Bompit's tools rely on JavaScript running in your browser. JavaScript must therefore be enabled for the tools to function.
Bompit is designed for reasonably current web browsers. We do not guarantee compatibility with every browser, browser version, device or configuration.
3. Tool output
Bompit tools generate output from information or instructions provided by you.
You should check important output before relying on it, particularly where an incorrect or incompatible result could have significant consequences.
Compatibility may depend on browsers, devices, operating systems, applications or other technology outside Bompit's control.
Your rights and responsibilities regarding input and generated output are described in Section 7.
4. Privacy and local processing
Bompit's current tools are designed to process tool input locally in your browser where described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Bompit processes, why it is processed, and your rights regarding personal data.
Future tools may use different processing methods. Where a new feature materially changes how personal data is processed, the relevant information and Privacy Policy will be updated as required.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Bompit available and useful, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security measures, failures of third-party infrastructure or other circumstances.
We may modify, replace or discontinue functionality as Bompit develops.
Where mandatory law gives you rights in relation to the availability, modification or discontinuation of a service, these Terms do not limit those rights.
6. No professional advice
Bompit provides general-purpose utility tools.
Unless a particular tool expressly states otherwise, output from Bompit is not intended to constitute legal, financial, medical, accounting, security or other professional advice.
You should obtain appropriate professional advice where your circumstances require it.
7. Your content, generated output and intellectual property
You retain any rights you have in information, content or other material that you provide when using Bompit.
Bompit does not claim ownership of your input or of output generated from your input merely because you used a Bompit tool to create it.
For Bompit's current tools, this includes generated output and downloadable files where a tool provides them.
Subject to applicable law and any rights that may exist in third-party material, you may use, copy, modify, share and distribute output generated by Bompit for personal or commercial purposes.
Bompit does not grant you rights in material that you do not already have the right to use. If your input contains names, text, trademarks, copyrighted material, personal data or other material belonging to or concerning another person or organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights or other lawful basis necessary to use that material.
You are also responsible for ensuring that your input and your use of generated output do not infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights of third parties, and do not violate applicable law.
Bompit may use third-party software, libraries, standards or other components to provide its tools. Those components remain subject to their respective licences and rights. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bompit does not claim that use of a Bompit tool gives you ownership of, or additional rights in, third-party material.
The Bompit name, branding, logos, website design, original software, documentation and original content are owned by or licensed to Byte Systems Holding, Petri Mäensivu AB. Your use of Bompit does not grant you any right to use Bompit's trademarks, branding or other intellectual property except as necessary to use the service normally.
Nothing in this section transfers ownership of your content to Bompit, and nothing transfers ownership of Bompit's intellectual property to you.
8. Generated output and verification
Bompit is designed to generate useful output based on the information and instructions you provide. However, generated output may be affected by input data, technical limitations, software versions, devices, applications, standards and third-party implementations outside Bompit's control.
Bompit does not guarantee that generated output or downloadable files will always be accurate, complete, compatible with every device or application, or suitable for every intended purpose.
Compatibility and behaviour may differ between browsers, operating systems, QR code readers, contact applications and other third-party software.
You should review and, where appropriate, test generated output before relying on it, particularly where an incorrect, incomplete or unreadable result could cause loss, inconvenience or other significant consequences.
The fact that output works with one device, application or software version does not guarantee that it will work with another or continue to work with future versions of third-party software.
Bompit does not guarantee that a particular output format or download function will remain available indefinitely.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty, remedy, liability or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Third-party services and software
Bompit may rely on, link to or produce output intended for use with third-party software, devices, websites or services.
Third parties operate independently and may apply their own terms, licences and privacy practices.
A reference or link to a third-party service does not by itself mean that Bompit controls or is responsible for that service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Bompit changes or when legal or regulatory requirements change.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this document shows when these Terms were most recently revised.
Changes to these Terms do not retroactively remove rights or remedies that you have under mandatory law.
Where applicable law requires notice or other measures before changed terms become effective, we will comply with those requirements.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under applicable law.
Disputes may be brought before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory right you may have to seek dispute resolution or other remedies under applicable consumer-protection law.
